Ericsson appoints Priyanka Anand as VP and HR Head of South East Asia, Oceania, India

New Delhi, Feb 20: Priyanka Anand, Ericsson's previous Vice-President and worldwide Human Resources (HR) Head has been designated as the organization Vice President and Head of HR for Market Area South East Asia, Oceania and India (MOAI). 

After assuming her new position, Priyanka would be in charge of driving the HR work crosswise over business sectors like India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh among others. 

Nunzio Mirtillo, Head of MOAI at Ericsson said, "Ericsson is a knowledge-based company with people being our core asset. I am confident that Priyanka with her rich experience will make a significant contribution to our people strategy and processes."

 

Priyanka directly drives an HR group of 60 assets, spread crosswise over more than 10 nations, driving HR methodology crosswise over various nations inside the Market Area. She works together with Business Leaders in creating and executing benchmark HR hones.

Between April 2014 and January 2018, Priyanka has been the Vice President and Head, HR Global Operations at Ericsson. Between July 2010 and April 2014, she was Vice President and Head of HR at Ericsson Global Services, where she was significant in the development of the company from its foundation in India to make a team of 15000 employees. 

While talking to media Priyanka Anand said, "This opportunity to interface and work with HR teams and stakeholders from different nationalities will go a long way towards building the best in class HR strategy within the market area. My main focus will be towards enhancing Ericsson winning culture while further developing and retaining world-class talent."

before joining Ericsson, Priyanka worked with Colt Technologies, Manpower and STG.
