IT Dept raids premises of Rotomac group, attaches 4 immovable properties

New Delhi, Feb 22: The Income Tax Department has appended four immovable properties of the Rotomac Group of organizations, in the most recent advancement for the situation. 

As per IT sources, these properties were connected on February 20. 

Three of the above properties are in Kanpur and one is in Ahmedabad. 

The IT division on Tuesday appended 14 financial balances of Rotomac Group of Companies after two groups of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided Vikram Kothari's house in Kanpur. 

Searches were conducted on Monday also. CBI has likewise sealed the private premises and an office of Rotomac chiefs in New Delhi. The central credit sum is estimated at Rs. 2919 crore.
